SCLAR CENTER FOR EMPOWERED DENTAL IMPLANT LEARNING

Introducing  a  ground breaking series of limited attendance dental implant courses  developed by Dr. Anthony Sclar, one of the most experienced private practice implant surgeons and foremost educators in the world, to empower clinicians and their staff by providing a comprehensive implant dentistry curriculum. Each course takes place in our “state of the art”  learning center housed in the core of Dr. Sclar's bustling dental implant practice. This unique setting combined with innovative teaching methodologies and  our passion for teaching  will ensure an unparalleled learning experience.

 Our courses include evidenced based didactic presentations enhanced by video footage, ample time for group discussions and observation of live surgery and prosthetic procedures. Our faculty will  use pioneering audiovisual technology to immediately review and annotate the video footage underscoring the critical points of the procedures thereby providing participants with a profound understanding of procedural nuances. Next, under personalized instruction, participants will perform the learned procedures on cadaveric specimens or simulated anatomic models in our high-tech simulation lab.

Staying true to our mission, to empower clinicians to implement the learned concepts and techniques in their everyday clinical practice, practical training for your surgical assistant is included and participants are granted post course access to an extensive topic specific video surgery library. Finally, in order to ensure that participants posses the prerequisite knowledge to maximize their experience, they will receive recommendations for pre-course study.

Our courses provide participants with current scientific information, practical clinical instruction, live procedure observation, hands-on training , case planning workshops and 1 year post course access to our topic specific implant dentistry video library.

 Overview:

The Sclar Center is located in beautiful South Miami, Florida, just 20 minutes from Miami International Airport.  The design of the Center has a contemporary feel and utilizes the latest in technology to enhance learning.  Great lengths have been taken to ensure that the Sclar Center is conducive to a learning experience that is second to none.  The Center is warm and welcoming and each participant has ample space for didactic as well as hands-on learning.  We hope you will join us.

 Physical Description:

Staying true to our mission to empower dental professionals, we know that the best way to accomplish this is through smaller class sizes.  We have designed a Learning Center that accommodates 16 students for hands-on learning in the lab and a presentation hall that can accommodate 28 students.  Our  large surgical suite  has the capabilities of broadcasting live surgery and prosthetic procedures through-out the Center and over the internet.  Our one of a kind HD audiovisual technology is designed to show-case a comprehensive curriculum of surgical and restorative procedures.

Technology:

From the surgical suite (that is a fully functioning High Definition (HD), ;  the first of its kind intra-oral film studio) to the presentation hall that also projects in HD, to the Kavo lab stations, you will know that The Sclar Center is on the cutting edge of technology.  In addition, an interactive audio system has been designed to allow for ample question and answers during live patient procedures which will ensure a truly unique learning experience.
